Mark movie box office day 2: Kichcha Sudeep thriller struggles to make even half of opening figures amid mixed reviews

Mark is Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep’s latest film, which opened to mixed reviews on December 25, 2025. After a flying start on day 1, the action thriller sees a major drop with the movie failing to collect even half of the day 1 figures. What is the Mark movie box office collection?

After the success of Max last year, Kiccha Sudeep once again joined hands with director Vijay Kartikeyaa for the second part titled Mark. There was significant buzz around the film before its Christmas release, ensuring that Mark was off to a solid start earning Rs 8.57 crore in India net collections on day 1. As expected, bulk of the collections have come from the original Kannada version with Rs 8.57 crore and the Tamil dubbed version contributing to a meagre Rs 0.03 crore

But the film was also met with mixed reviews, which now seems to have a direct impact on its box office earnings with only Rs 3.5 crore recorded on day 2.

The 2025 film Mark has registered a total worldwide collection of Rs 14.35 crore after two days at the box office, with India net collections at Rs 12.1 crore. The film features Sudeep in yet another cop role.

Mark released in theatres along with another Kannada film, titled 45, which marked music composer Arjun Janya’s directorial debut. The film, which features Shivarajkumar, Raj B Shetty and Upendra, has made a total collection of Rs 7.50 crore. 45 also saw a dip in collections after Rs 5.5 crore opening dropping to Rs 2 crore on day 2.

Apart from Kiccha Sudeep in the lead role, the Vijay Kartikeyaa directorial also features actors Yogi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Vikranth, Guru Somasundaram, and Shine Tom Chacko, among others.
